PERMACLEAR #20 is a Clear waterproofing sealer and finish designed for hard to "stick to" surfaces. Excellent film formation over non-porous or previously coated surfaces. This coating consists of 100% Acrylic resins combined with special additives that form a mildew resistant, non-yellowing semi-gloss finish on most any surface.

PERMACLEAR reduces harmful water intrusion of the surface by sealing most cracks crevices and pores to create a sheeting off of water. Water intrusion is the primary source of rotting in wood, efflorescence of cement, degradation in shingles and corrosion in metal. Once the surface is sealed from water and moisture with PERMACLEAR the end result is complete protection of the surface.

Use on..primed steel, acrylic skylights, any plastic material, glazed tile, aluminum, galvanized, tin and copper, clay, adobe, masonry, pre colored concrete and stucco, plaster, wood decks and glass.

Reduce Heat:
By adding Hy-Tech Insulating Ceramic additive to Permaclear you add an insulating barrier of ceramic microspheres to the surface which act like mini thermos bottles reducing heat transfer.
This insulating clear coating produces a "Frosted Glass" like effect that blocks the penetrating suns heat rays reducing heat inside while still allowing light in. Ideal for reducing heat intrusion through skylights.
Lower temperatures in greenhouses,sunroom's, solariums, polycarbonate conservatory roofs.

Preparation: All surfaces,
It is essential that the surface be thoroughly clean and free of mildew, dirt, grease and other foreign materials.
The surface to be coated must be completely dry and free of all moisture to avoid blushing or hazing. Avoid application of extremely high humidity days and do not apply if rain is expected with 24 hours.

Other applications:
When mixed with Boric Acid  ( natures own insecticide ) Permaclear becomes a very effective wood treatment for Termites, and prevents wood rot.

With the addition of Hy-Tech Insulating ceramics Permaclear becomes a translucent insulating clear coating. Ideal on skylights, greenhouses,

Apply by brush, roller or spray. Non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-hazardous. Easy soap and water cleanup. Spread rate appx 200-350 sq ft per gallon. Recoat in 2 hours.
For most applications 2 coats are recommended.

We masked off a design on glass and sprayed on two coats of PERMACLEAR clear acrylic mixed with Hy-Tech ceramic microspheres. As you can see light still passes through but the reduction in heat is tremendous.

Use Permaclear anywhere a clear, non-yellowing protective coating is needed.
